SOS Primates is a non-profit organization that supports the work of the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Center (CRPL). Located in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, the center is home to more than 90 chimpanzees and 100 monkeys rescued from poaching and illegal trafficking. In this war-stricken area, the CRPL employs more than 50 local workers and represents the only hope for the protection and survival of these fascinating animals.

This group is created to help the many needs of Cal Lari, ADE’s "big" shelter. In it almost 50 horses and other animals live free. Gary, was rescued this summer of '22, a welsh pony condemned for malformation in its legs to starve and thirst in a cage of iron rods next to a road. After his rescue and hospital admission to the veterinary clinic, we have him recovering in Cal Lari. Keeping one horse a month is 200 € only in food.

With your support, we can continue to provide treatment, rehabilitation, and return them to the wild—giving them a future they otherwise wouldn't have. Together, we can help many more of these stories have a happy ending.

Seit mehr als 40 Jahren hilft unser Tierschutzverein ausgesetzten Tieren. Im Jahr 2008 wurde unser Refugio gebaut und seitdem haben wir, dank unserer Mitglieder und Vergessene Pfoten e.V., tausenden von Tieren geholfen. Vergessene Pfoten e.V. unterstützt uns seit 2006 dabei, für unsere Schützlinge das passende Zuhause zu finden, übernimmt alle Kosten, die für deren Versorgung benötigt werden und unterstützt auch finanziell Kastrationsaktionen vor Ort.
