SOS Primates is a non-profit organization that supports the work of the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Center (CRPL). Located in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, the center is home to more than 90 chimpanzees and 100 monkeys rescued from poaching and illegal trafficking. In this war-stricken area, the CRPL employs more than 50 local workers and represents the only hope for the protection and survival of these fascinating animals.

Els animals tenen ànima, senten i pateixen. No són objectes, ni esclaus, ni joguines. Tot i que la societat sembla començar a conscienciar-se, sabem que encara ens queda un llarguíssim camí per recórrer. Per això existim. La tasca d'ADE consisteix a oferir una vida digna, justa i tan natural com sigui possible a tots els animals que habiten al nostre refugi. Però no ens hi quedem: també eduquem a través de xerrades, visites i formació per canviar el futur.

Cada any, a l'hospital de fauna salvatge d'AMUS donem una segona oportunitat a més de 2.000 animals ferits, malalts o orfes. Darrere de cada pacient hi ha una història de lluita i esperança. Amb la teva ajuda podem seguir curant, rehabilitant i tornant a la natura els qui no tindrien cap altra oportunitat. Junts podem fer que moltes més històries tinguin un final feliç.

For more than 40 years, our shelter has been helping abandoned animals. In 2008, the refuge was built, and since then we have helped thousands of animals thanks to the collaboration of our members and Vergessene Pfoten, a German NGO that has been supporting us since 2006 by finding homes for our little ones and covering the expenses generated by their care.
