A l'hospital d'AMUS hi ingressen anualment més de 2000 exemplars; des dels seus inicis s'ha format un equip de professionals amb el suport del voluntariat i els estudiants que ha revolucionat la manera d'atendre fauna ferida amb medicina d'innovació i excel·lència recolzada en tècniques d'avantguarda. La responsabilitat en cada animal operat, alguns molt amenaçats i tornats a la Natura la fan ser una entitat resolutiva, amb una contribució real a la conservació de la biodiversitat.

Truquin als bombers, hi ha molts focs! Efectivament, en aquest cas no ens referim a focs pròpiament dits. Bombers Ajuden és una Associació de Bombers de Madrid que, juntament amb un grup de voluntaris, decideixen unir-se al seu temps lliure per apagar focs tan grossos com la manca de recursos en famílies que han d'escollir entre un sostre o alimentar els seus fills. O com a nens amb malalties molt greus que no poden accedir als tractaments que poden millorar la seva qualitat de vida.

Som un grup de nens/es que tenim la síndrome de duplicació mecp2, que ens produeix retard mental, psicomotor i de llenguatge, insomni, infeccions respiratòries, esteriotípies… crisis epilèptiques que ens produeixen regressió. A l'hospital Sant Joan de Deu de Bcn s'investiga gràcies a les famílies i donacions privades per trobar un tractament o cura que millori la nostra qualitat de vida. Soy Xana, tengo 17años, y soy maravillosa, pero como todo no puede ser perfecto, tengo Parálisis cerebral, y llevo una traqueotomía para respirar, y una válvula para la hidrocefalia. The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Will you join us?

Darío tiene solo 2 años y una enfermedad ultra-rara y sin cura llamada FOP ( Fibrodisplasia Osificante Progresiva), los músculos, ligamentos, tendones y articulaciones se osifican formando hueso, hasta que crean un segundo esqueleto que les inmoviliza. En España hay unos 40 casos, no tiene cura ni tratamiento e irreversible. Se puede dar por brotes espontáneos o causados por un golpe, vacuna, operación. Necesitamos visibilidad e investigación para un tratamiento ya que hay varios en proyecto.
