Every day, 500 children are born with HIV and there are already 2 million in the world. Most live in resource-limited countries where diagnosis and infection monitoring are a luxury. For the past 15 years, the EpiMolVIH research laboratory at the IRYCIS-Ramon y Cajal Hospital in Madrid has been working to improve HIV detection and facilitate access to diagnosis in vulnerable populations. Somos una asociación empeñada en crear un Centro Lúdico-Animal-Terapéutico-Educacional-Laboral para menores con diversidad funcional, donde la terapia puntera sea el contacto con la naturaleza junto a las Actividades Asistidas con nuestros Animales; todos procedentes de adopciones y con preferencia aquellos que manifiesten discapacidad. Somos una Asociación sin ánimo de lucro, puesta en marcha en mayo del 2015, con el objetivo de recaudar fondos para la investigación de un tumor infantil maligno (cáncer infantil) llamado RABDOMIOSARCOMA (enfermedad huérfana). Trabajamos estrechamente con el Laboratorio de Investigación del Hospital Sant Joan de Déu para pilotar un proyecto de investigación.

El objetivo es proporcionar documentación legal, escolarización, acompañamiento, atención médica y nutricional y colonias de verano a niños y niñas en situación de alta vulnerabilidad del municipio de Dioulacolon, en la región de Kolda, Alta Casamance, Senegal. Dicho programa de protección y educación se lleva a cabo a través del empoderamiento de jóvenes y mujeres de la región con la intervención de adultos comprometidos pertenecientes a su propia red social.

Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

OCC is a registered nonprofit organisation active in both Barcelona (Spain) and Polykastro (Greece), working towards the inclusion of refugees and migrants through educational and cultural activities. We work mainly with volunteers to offer language classes, technical workshops, sports activities, cultural events, and women and children’s support. At the same time, we work on an international level with many European partners to increase our social impact.

The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Will you join us?

The Humanitarian Maritime Rescue Association (SMH) is an NGO that defends the life and human rights of displaced people. Our main tool is the Aita Mari ship, with which we help people who go to sea in search of survival. More or less €20,000 is the amount it costs us to fill the ship's fuel tanks. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 9 she can hardly move anymore.

We try to meet the vital needs of people living in extreme poverty.   At present hundreds of services are carried out daily in the Center and Social Dining Room and the Cas Vicari Family Assistance Center and Food Bank.   They are given shelter, breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner, psychological attention, social technical attention, work orientation and a decent place where they can normalize their situation.   Tel. 637634232 - 610046105

1 in 5 children in Yemen suffer from acute malnutrition (2.3 million total). 500,000 are at risk of death. Families do not have money for the hospital or for necessary food. Under Yemeni pediatric supervision we take care of serious and difficult cases. We give milk, food, medicine, medical assistance, pay hospital admissions, etc., until their recovery or improvement. €1 pays for 1 day's worth of milk for 1 baby. Every €10 we buy 1 can of milk for 4 days.
