DEFENSA FELINA is a non-profit association, legally constituted and founded in 2009, which guarantees the protection of feline rights for cats born on or abandoned in the streets. We help them find their forever home, just what they deserve. Whilst awaiting rehoming, they are temporarily fostered. And those that nobody wants? We put them up in our shelter where they can live safely and well cared for.

At 19, Janira met Salah, a Syrian boy who, by 13, was selling flowers on the streets of Lebanon to survive. Lacking access to education, Janira decided to create a school for him. She called it 26 Letters. Today, our school supports 450 families with education and humanitarian assistance. Now, with the war reaching Lebanon, their situation has become more dire. Many families are trapped, unable to afford food or shelter, and desperately need help to secure a safer future for their children.

60 cats comimg from an eviction due to Noah syndrome who ended up in the infamous Seville municipal kennel. They were rescued by some volunteers and are currently sheltered in rather precarious conditions, hoping to give them for adoption to responsible people who will finally provide them with a real home. Huellas de esperanza surgió de la necesidad de ayudar a Antonia, una mujer que ella sola alimenta y cuida a 230 gatos en un pueblo de Sevilla, sin ayuda de nadie. Eso supone un desembolso de 500€ al mes solo en comida, más todos los gastos veterinarios que cada mes son elevados. Todo eso lo paga de su bolsillo y nunca pide ayuda a nadie. Al contrario, nunca mira para otro lado cuando un gatito necesita ayuda. Ella hace que la vida de todos esos gatos sea mejor. Démosle un poco de ayuda.

Hi, I'm Kim. I founded this association in 2020. I'm dedicated to rescuing litters of kittens, cats with veterinary needs, and abandoned cats. I foster cats and look for adoptions for those I've rescued. I feed colonies and help other colonies feed them. I do all of this without any help, neither physical nor financial. En el Santuario de los gatitos de Nía tenemos una casa especial para gatos positivos a leucemia y doble positivos. Actualmente tenemos 20 gatos en estas condiciones y necesitan de unas necesidades especiales empezando por la alimentación. In this group we free dogs from 3 Seville killing stations (kennel managed by private firms and which unfortunately have nothing to do with a shelter but more with a prison where dogs and cats are put into small cages without medical care and without being able to leave the kennel for months). Many dogs that we get out from there have been locked up for months or years, sometimes we free them just in time before they are euthanized in other to free space for new dogs....

We are 3 people dedicated to the care and control of stray cats and the management of the OhMyCat shelter. We feed, take care and perform the CER method for their control. We rescue the sick and the sociable and small ones. At OhMyCat we have adult and sociable cats that need to find homes. We need help to be able to maintain the premises and the food and veterinary care. Every euro is a lot of help for the animals we manage, almost 200. Thank you
