Protectora SAT Animal Rescue, or ‘SAT’ as it is usually known, is a voluntary organisation and registered charity rescuing and re-homing stray and abandoned dogs in the Alicante province. In January 2024 we moved to our new kennels at San Isidro, which provides much better accommodation for our dogs, but we still need to raise more funds to complete the project. Since December 2017, I have managed a colony alone in the Alzira industrial estate, 30km from my house. I am in charge of feeding, sterilizing, deworming and all the care they require, such as testing or vaccinating, treatments doctors and manage adoptions. In addition to our permanent cats, we feed those that wander around the polygon and provide them with shelters to sleep in. La asociacion L.E.A nace a principios de septiembre de 2015 para dar rescate, apoyo veterinario y encontrar familias para los muchos perros y gatos abandonados que se encuentran en las calles.
