Part of the GaGa Animal Care charity is "Cat Action & Rescue Eressos (CARE)”. Bringing together the amazing work that has been developed and achieved over many years in Skala Eressos, Lesvos. CARE ensures that the cats in Skala Eressos receive the best possible (medical) care and organises and facilitates health and sterilisation programmes that work to maintain a more healthy and stable population.

Do you want to help us? In addition to helping with the mediation of adoptions of kittens and cats, Sappho's also want to supports the fosters on Lesvos in the medical costs of cats who are brought in injured. The adoptionfee is just enough to pay the actual costs to the vet and flight. Would you like to help to alleviate the suffering of these cats on the island of Lesbos? Stichting We Are Here Lesvos zet zich met een aantal vrijwilligers in voor de straathonden op Lesbos. Wij proberen de leefomstandigheden te verbeteren door te zorgen dat ze gevoerd worden, zich niet voort kunnen planten, bescherming krijgen tegen ongedierte en dat ze droog kunnen slapen op een veilige plaats in door ons gemaakte hokken. Honden die zich niet op straat kunnen redden, worden door ons herplaatst in Nederland. Gedumpte pups en kansloze straathonden krijgen zo een betere toekomst.

We are a non profit making organization and we care for animals that have been abandoned by their owners, having rescued them we bring back to health and give them a place to get old in a good way. We specialize in the care of donkeys and dogs. We need to raise money for veterinary costs and food. We are the only donkey shelter on Lesvos, will you please give 1€ per month.

Tierfreunde Lesbos e.V. ist eine kleine Gruppe von Menschen auf der Insel Lesbos und in Deutschland, die sich um Hunde und Katzen im Bereich Petra und Molivos im Norden der griechischen Insel kümmern. Der Tierschutzverein hilft vor Ort mit der Versorgung von verletzen Tieren und Kastrationsaktionen. Ausgesetzte Tiere werden versorgt, in unser Gehege aufgenommen und in liebevolle Zuhause vermittelt.
