Aster Agrupació Astronòmica de Barcelona vol impulsar la creació d’un telescopi remot per observar el cel, captar imatges i desenvolupar activitats astronòmiques de manera més contínua, estable i accessible. Més que un nou equip, el projecte és una oportunitat per fer créixer l’entitat, ampliar l’observació i l’astrofotografia, i continuar compartint l'afició per l’astronomia. Els projectes més il·lusionants comencen amb un petit gest i acaben convertint-se en una cosa molt gran per a tothom.
